First post

So this is the first post for the new blog. I plan to use this for keeping people up to date on the life and times of a new Earhart (Alex, to be exact.)

I wanted something that would allow me to quickly add photos and notes without having to deal with all the techie issues - I'm assuming I'll have better things to do with my time than troubleshoot a DNS issue or a home-routing issue. I'll just rely on our good friends at Google to make this nice and easy for me.

I also wanted a blog that would easily allow Jessica or other friends'n'family to quickly and easily make an update - especially for those times when I am a bit pre-occupied. This tool seems straightforward enough.

A big shout-out to my good friend Mr. Jesse Phelps (JP HELPS!) for the recommendation on using this tool. Now, the question is whether or not I will actually remember to ever update this blog again...



oh, the random photo is just a test photo to see how well the tool handles uploading photos. The photos is me with my 'can-do-cup' back in April of 2007.
