So Alex is 8 months old now, and it's been almost a month since I've posted anything new. Unfortunately, based on what I wanted to do with this blog, that would imply that Alex hasn't done anything blog-worthy. However, that couldn't be further from the truth.
Alex is army crawling - and has been for a few weeks. It's fun to put him in one location and see how long it takes him to get to something he shouldn't be near - my computer, for example. :) He's developed a fasination with my UPS (Uninteruptable Power Supply) and the red buttons on the front of it. He likes to crawl in to our bathroomm, and even found that (if the door isn't completely shut) he can slap the door and it will open up. Jessica is utilizing our hallway as a little play area for Alex - but shutting the doors to the bedrooms, we have a relatively controlled environment that still has plenty of room for him to move around in. He's also just started to pull himself up; well, he's done it once, anyway - and jess got it on camera!
He's also eating more 'real' food - Jess (being quite the cullinary genius) has been making him all sorts of food - Acorn Squash, banannas, applesauce, oatmeal, pears, peaches, etc...but his favorite food of all seems to be Gerber Puffs .
And now for a taste of what's to come. . .
