We are 1 quarter of the way through his first year - so far, it's been pretty amazing.
Alex has been doing really well. We celebrated Independence Day by visiting both sets of grandparents. We didn't actually go see any fireworks, but we certainly heard quite a few from our house. Alex seemed to be completely indifferent to them, which will hopefully set him up for loving them next year.
He's generally very peaceful and content. He likes to look at fans, his mom, and now - his feet! This moring I walked in the room and Jessica tells me: "I'm not sure - but i THINK he found his feet!" Sure enough, he seemed to be completely interesetd in watching them kick around - too cute.
With his contentness and schedule working very well, we've had time to hang out online with our friends scattered abroad - it won't be long until Alex is joining us in game!
Jess has been really diligent with taking pictures and capturing moments in Alex's life - apparently he likes himself too. :)

thats a fun photo you got of him seeing himself. I gotta try to capture wesley doing that but so far he isn't interested in himself.
