Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Today, I was fortunate enough to receive tickets to the Cardinal's game. A part of me (a large part of me) wanted to find a sitter for Alex, but Jess was up for the challenge, so we decided to take the whole Earhart family. Here's a rundown:

Jess used her new home-made Wrap (expect a post about it later, compliments of Jessica herself) to keep Alex safe, secure, and most importantly, satisfied. He was extremely mobile in getting to our seats, and the surrounding fans seemed to like Alex as much as the game (go figure! single "20 something" guys behind us may be excluded...)

The seats were absolutely fantastic - thanks DataServ!

It was lightly raining when we were driving in, and only barely sprinkled while we were there - even with that, the weather was fantastic, and the view was amazing.

We were 2 rows from the field, and had plenty of foul balls come our way (fortunately, none too close that we had to duck'n'cover Alex - we have to protect that baby!)

I tried to capture some action shots, but nothing came out to great - needless to say, it was a great experience - Alex did great, and we made it out of the game as happy as we went in!

For those keeping score at home, we left at the top of the 9th (didn't want to push Alex TOO far), and the Cardinals were in the lead at that point, so we can say - for our purposes - that the Cardinals won. MLB may say otherwise....
