11 months...

Alex is super cute and full of energy. He is really content to just play by himself and discover new things around the house (or his cage). His top left tooth just broke through on the top and his top right one should be in any day now.

Lately he has been really in to shaking things. He can shake and push his "corral" half way across the living room, fortunately there's a coffee table that keeps him from going too far. He loves to shake his crib railing when he wakes up. Often he won't make any noise, but we'll hear the *thump thump thump* and know he's awake. Pretty much anything that can be moved is shaken.

He also does this super cute thing where he says "uh-oh!". It's adorable :) Grams and Papa Mark taught him how to say this when we were in Houston, and he absolutely loves it. In fact, he loves it so much we can hardly get him to say anything else. Every time we say "mamamamama" or "dadadadada" to try and get him to copy us he responds with, "uh-oh!". It's so cute!

The glasses haven't been going quite as well lately, but I really just need to be more consistent. Whenever he wears them I have to sit like 2 feet from him with my arms out ready to pounce whenever he reaches up to rip them off of his head.

Now for what you really want - pictures:

"I bite"

Just like Daddy

"Mommy, can I pick which Spurgeon's sermons we read tonight?"

We like to say he's "hunting for mommas" when he wears camo

He caught me!

"I'll get you mom!"

"Got'cha!"
Do you see a recurring theme? ;) He likes to chase me around the house :)

I walked in the living room and found him like this. He got on there all by himself.

He was so proud of himself :)

Alex loves to crawl around our computers and shake them, bang on them, and push buttons.

"My dad is the best toy ever!"

Playing piano with daddy

One for his mouth, and one to play with. Sometimes I'll catch him with one in each hand and one in his mouth. Unfortunately, we hardly ever have 3 that aren't lost at the same time :)
