After a visit from some family (and a quick feeding) we're calling it a night with Alex. I'll be headed home soon to enjoy a nice comfortable bed - Jess should get at least some sleep tonight; things have been pretty quiet so far, anyways.
The pediatrician said that Alex is "perfect" - I suppose that may be a slight exaggeration, but he is doing very well. The circumcision seemed to go as good as that whole operation can go, and I helped a nurse change his first post-circ-dirty diaper. Poor baby :( (him, not me - ok, me too I guess)
Tomorrow with the help of a rejuvinating night, we should actually have the desire courage and ability to dress Alex up for everyone to see - after all, 2 days old IS a pretty big event.
