After that it was time to give Alex his first 'baby bath' - we're using a super cool bath that monitors the water temperature with a huge LCD display; apparently between 92 and 99 degrees is the 'sweet spot' for the water, so once we got that in place, we were 'ready'. Alex seems to think otherwise....
All in all, we ended up with a fresh baby with a fresh baby belly button - off to bed with some fresh belly button pictures and some other random cute pictures jessica took today.

Hey guys---I haven't written yet, but have been checking in this week since Shelley sent me your address. We Petersons of Fred'town are very happy for you! Alex is absolutely sweet! I have been thoroughly enjoying my time looking at the pictures and reading each update. What an amazing thing to have the ability to see pictures and videos as soon as they are taken--it IS amazing considering that MY baby pictures are black and white(Tee and I go back a little ways...) :o)

Just caught up on this weeks excitement. I love your new couch! That wrap also looks like it is going to be real handy. How big a baby can it hold? Just kidding. Congratulations on a good nights sleep this early I am impressed.
