What we do while Daddy's at work...

First of all, things are much more fun with Steve around. It just isn't the same without him.

Today I put Alex on his tummy for some official "tummy time". He kind of just laid there happily with his pacifier... Until it fell out then he really started to wiggle. I laid on the floor with him so he didn't feel so lonely.

At some point during the day we stare at the ceiling and discuss the big hole. We generally listen to a Mozart mix during this time on Pandora. This usually lasts a couple of hours before Alex gets sleepy and/or hungry.

We went to the pediatrician today. My first time taking Alex out solo. It was pretty uneventful, but Alex weighs 7lbs 6oz which they said is really good... what do I know? ;)

He has been doing really well at night - only waking up every 2-3 hours - except for last night. For some reason he decided to get up every hour. We did a lot of sleeping today to try and make up for last night. It still seemed like he spent half the day awake... If I was tired how could he be so awake?!

Steve is so good with Alex. Better than me really :) He always seems to know what he wants and how to make him happy. The kid is crazy about him (and so am I) :)

Would you believe he even sent me flowers yesterday with a note from Alex :) He's pretty amazing :)
