This evening went pretty smoothly for us.
I assembled what may be the greatest creation ever - The Swing. Alex was very content tonight; Jessica swaddled him and he sat (laid? I'm not sure what position he's in when he's swaddled so well..) on the couch while jess and I tweaked the swing. Once we put him in the swing (at around 9:00), it was 'game over' and he was out like a light; he still hasn't woken up from it (which may mean we're in for a long night...) We were hoping to keep him awake a bit longer, but apparently the swing may be his cryptonite. Jess and I probably should have taken advantage of his sleeping and caught some Zs ourselves, but instead took advantage of some alone time and enjoyed each other's company and watched some TV snuggled on the couch - sleep can wait. :)
I think "Uncle Andy" may have also boggled Alex's mind with his performance on the Rubic's Cube...pics from earlier today:

You enjoyed it yourself as a little man, I still have a picture where Andy is on the back of the swing and Shelley is facing you on the front of the swing, you were probably 2 months old:)

That swing looks very nice and compact. The deco in that room is really nice too! I love the curtains and the floor lamp especially.
