Slight changes

So Sunday was officially a "day of rest" - we ended up sleeping on and off throughout the whole day, catching up on some much needed sleep. We ended the evening well rested and Jess and I enjoyed some more quality time with Alex nearby.

We also learned a new swaddling technique that essentially emulates a straight-jacket. As uncomfortable as it looks, and as hard as it is to do to the poor little guy, he sure does seem to enjoy it once it is in place, and he ends up sleeping much better without his hands sneaking out of the 'amateur' swaddles.

Jess did great last night, and allowed me to be well rested for my first day back at work; GG came over today and helped Jessica on her first day without me. I certainly missed both Jess and Alex, especially after a week of being near both of them.

We'll be getting the video camera working in the very near future, and i hope to put some video up of the now 1 week old Alex. Stay tuned....
